Emerson iTone Portable Dockable Audio System is a compact, portable device that lets you dock and charge any "dockable" iPod (as of January 2006) and play it through the built-in speakers. Because your iPod connects directly to the front- mounted docking system, this system is ideal for when you want to share your music with others, or for those times when listening through your earbuds is simply not an option. This system also features a digital clock and AM/FM tuner with a full-function remote control. And thanks to a couple of connection extras--a USB connector and an auxiliary input--you can connect both newer non-docking iPods, such as the iPod shuffle, and older first-generation iPods, MP3 players, and personal CD players.
It's a breeze to customize this unit according to your personal preferences. The digital turner automatically scans the AM and FM bands and locks in stations perfectly with no repetitive fine tuning required.
