Description:
Get rid of that coffee table clutter! Sony's powerful RM-AV3100 home theater remote can replace most, if not all, of your component remotes. This Sony RM-AV3100 Universal Remote Commander comes ready to help you take command of your A/V gear right out of the box! It's preset to operate Sony gear, and comes pre-programmed with codes for hundreds of components from almost all major brands. The 'AV3100 can control up to 18 separate components. The glow-in-the-dark component buttons are easy to see in any light — simply press one to call up that component's control pad, which displays on the blue LCD touchscreen (see "More Photos" for a close-up view).
The 'AV3100's learning function can copy a component's entire command set (or specific advanced functions missing from the pre-programmed set) from its own IR remote. With 45 built-in macros, you can easily string together complex command sequences (up to 44 consecutive operations per macro) and activate multiple components with just the touch of a button! The remote also has a clock/timer function that can automatically turn components on and off.
The touchscreen puts lots of options at your fingertips, plus you get dedicated "hard" buttons for the most commonly used functions (such as volume, channel, muting, and cursor controls. The touchscreen is backlit (perfect for darkened home theater viewing), and the remote is shaped to fit comfortably in the hand or on the lap. New Model Available: This model has been replaced by the Sony LCD Touch Screen Universal Remote Control
