Delightfully retro in style but featuring audio performance befitting of today, this TEAC Retro Style AM/FM Mono Clock Radio delivers clear, full-range sound via its built-in mono speaker. It also features a built-in clock and alarm, perfect for using as your bedside radio alarm clock. It includes a large, easy-to-read light blue, circular LCD displaying the time, radio station, and selected preset. It will look great sitting on a tabletop or your office desk, but it can also be used as a portable radio with the integrated rechargeable battery (charged by the included AC adapter).

The R2 has a digital AM/FM tuner that can be set manually, or you can program up to 10 presets. The alarm clock offers timer and snooze functions. With separate bass and treble controls, you'll be able to make whatever you listen to sound just right. It offers a rear-panel headphone jack for private listening as well as a mini-jack auxiliary input, enabling you to use the R2 as an external speaker for your iPod or portable CD player--it even comes with a mini-to-mini cable. Other features include a built-in ferrite AM antenna, telescoping FM antenna for outdoor use, pigtail-style FM antenna for indoor use, integrated handle, and function selector (AM, AM, auxiliary, off).
